Yes. Every built-in template renders as clean, parseable HTML and exports a text-based PDF (not an image). ATS parsers can extract your name, role headings, and bullets from any of them. The multi-column templates (Sidebar, Classic) use a left-to-right reading order that Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, and iCIMS all handle correctly.

Yes. Your CV data is stored separately from the template — pick a new template at any time and every section, bullet, and skill re-renders in the new design. Nothing is deleted or reformatted.

When someone uploads a PDF whose design doesn't match one of our four built-ins, Claude with vision extracts the visual design into a reusable template that gets added to the community library. Other users can then apply that same design to their own CV. Every template we've seen the community upload becomes a design option for everyone else.

Yes. Every built-in template and every community template is free to use on any BaissonCV plan, including the free one. The Better and Best plans add AI tooling on top (ATS scanner, tailoring, cover letters, job discovery) but the template library itself has no paywall.

Colors, accent tokens, section order, and typography all adjust in the editor. Structural changes (moving from single-column to two-column, for instance) are handled by picking a different template — the data re-renders instantly, no rework needed.
